This Scholarship was established to encourage the study of creative reuse of historic buildings to students entering the Master of Heritage Conservation program at the University of Sydney School of Architecture, Design and Planning.

This Scholarship has been donated by AJC Architects (formerly Allen Jack+Cottier).

The Scholarship will be awarded by the Head of School and Dean of the Sydney School of Architecture, Design and Planning, or their nominated delegate(s), on nomination made by the Heritage Conservation Program Director, a Professor of Architecture and a representative of AJC Architects.

Allen Jack + Cottier Scholarship in Heritage Conservation Coverage

The Scholarship is valued at $5,000 per annum and is tenable for one year.

The Scholarship annual value will be paid in two equal instalments after the census date of each semester.

To continue receipt of the Scholarship, the recipient must maintain a minimum Semester Average Mark (SAM) of 65 each semester.

Allen Jack + Cottier Scholarship in Heritage Conservation Eligibility Criteria

You must:

  • Enrol into the Master of Heritage Conservation degree.
  • Background in architectural design or closely related areas
  • Study conservation and the creative reuse of buildings
  • Have an unconditional offer of admission and enrol into the Master of Heritage Conservation degree at the Sydney School of Architecture, Design and Planning
  • Have a background in architectural design or closely related areas
  • Be willing to study conservation and the creative reuse of buildings.
