Hi Krishna, Biomedical Engineering is a course that is better done abroad in my honest opinion, unless you are doing it from the Top 5 IITs. The career scope for the same is still unknown in India, as it is a growing field, but research in a top uni like IIT Bombay or Madras would be really good. However, the pay in India for such interdisciplinary course is still low I guess. PayScale reports the average salary for a Biomedical Engineer in India is ₹362858, which is quite low.
The difference in India and universities in developed countries abroad is the availability of Technology and labs that are state of the art, well upgraded and allows research in fields you would have never even thought of before. Career wise also, the scope is really good in Medically advanced countries in Canada, Europe or the US. Ultimately the decision is upto you. Masters abroad is an expensive one, unless you get funded but however, the international exposure and recognition also matter a lot.
