Robertson College, a private Canadian career training institution headquartered in Winnipeg, Manitoba, offers diploma and certificate programs. With campuses in Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, and across Alberta, Robertson has built a strong presence in career-focused education.

Founded in 1911 by Mary Irvine Robertson, the college's origins trace back to her plans to start a court-reporting business with her sister, who was living in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan at the time. Mrs. Robertson, who had previously worked as a stenographer and reporter at Edinburgh's city hall, emigrated from Scotland to Canada in 1912 with her young daughter. In 1913, she and her sister established the Dominion Stenographic Service, a court-reporting business. When judicial courts began hiring their own shorthand stenographers in 1919, the business evolved into a shorthand school, laying the foundation for Robertson College.
