Our Presidential Scholars are selected from our highest-achieving admitted students. A UTA Presidential Scholar will earn a 10,000 award annually, or 40,000 over a four-year career.
Scholarship Requirements:
The academic profile of a Presidential Scholar may vary for this very competitive award, but students who have at least a 1400 SAT (total of Math and Evidence-Based Reading and Writing) or 30 ACT score and who rank in the top 20% of the high school graduating class are very strong candidates for the Presidential Scholar pool.
How To Apply:
Scholarship consideration requires receipt of all admission documents by December 3, 2019.
The scholarship offers four years of support toward a UTA bachelor’s degree upon meeting the renewal requirements:
- Full-time enrollment (12 UTA hours) each fall and spring
- Minimum cumulative UTA GPA of 3.0
- Earn a minimum of 30 UTA hours during fall/spring/summer
