Johnston Scholars have a rich history at Carolina thanks to the generosity and commitment of the James M. Johnston Trust. For more than 45 years, the Johnston Trust has allowed thousands of high-achieving students to earn a place at Carolina, despite financial barriers.
Scholarship Requirements:
- Based on a combination of merit and financial need. Students must submit a financial aid application along with their UNC admissions application to be eligible for the Johnston Scholarship.
- Must maintain a 3.0 GPA
