University Selection

Question

Hello,
I am still confused about which university to choose between UC Denver, Mercer University, Southern Illinois University Edwardshile and Georgia State university for computer science?
Can yocket team help me with this?

One more thing.....i dont have any scholarship as international student at GSU, at UC Denver $7500, at SIUE $9000, at Mercer $ 19000 for a year.... taking these in remind also as looking for opportunities after grduation and during study which option would be better?

Hi Shubhakamana,
So as per the CSRankings website, which is a highly trusted one for ranking research institutes in their Computer Science department, Georgia State ranks 126 in the nation and UC Denver ranks 142, whereas the other two are unranked!
On an overall scale, Georgia State University is ranked #239 in National Universities whereas UC Denver is ranked #227. This is not a big difference, but since GSU is a better uni in CS, I would suggest going for that. Mercer University is ranked #160 in National Universities and SIUE is ranked quite low which is not considerable. Although Mercer has an overall ranking that is impressive, its CS Department does lack the research output that you would like.

Overall, I feel GSU is the better option!
