Does the ROI varies from course to course in different universities. Suppose if we take Computer science or data science course does the ROI vary in the same university and different universities.Please enlight about this ROI and some more insights on this #ROI #masters #computerScience #datascience #jobs #admissions

Hi Poorna, if the Universities you're comparing do not belong to the Ivy League (https://yocket.com/blog/what-is-the-ivy-league), then there is not much difference in the salaries. Graduates from any other Universities apart from the Ivys do not experience any major differences in salaries. Having said that, the pay disparity might arise if the University in question provides the best CS or DS course in the country. In that case, the graduates of this University, even though it's not Ivy League, might tend to earn more.

The job market in the US looks beyond just your institution. They focus on other factors like past experience if any, relevant soft and technical skills, passion for the field, and enthusiasm shown for the opportunity. In addition, the State/location where you get the job also affects the ROI not just in terms of earnings, but also in terms of how much you can be taxed.
