Hi Abhishek, A good GRE score will not make up for a low GPA especially at top schools like NYU, USC, Purdue, and Columbia, GPAs are used to determine if you are really to take graduate courses, and the graduate schools expects a minimum of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
