Need info regarding Scholarship Application

I had started the application process for fall'22 without applying for any external scholarships (I know, thoughtless and quite last minute) but now I unexpectedly did get good admits and one of the universities did provide a very small nominal scholarship. Now with the possibility of massive student debt staring in my face, I'm curious whether we can still apply for scholarships for fall'22? Can someone please explain it to me like I'm 5 :(
