The Exter university is one of the top public universities in the UK. It is also one of the top 200 global universities. The university definitely has a reputation of its own with excellent facilities, pleasant location etc. However, you should look at your individual school of interest to get a thorough understanding. While the university may be excellent for humanities and arts-related courses, it may not be the best for engineering-related courses.
