Documents for Proof of Funds for Canada Student Visa

To apply for a Canadian study visa, follow these steps:

Step 1: Check Processing Time

Review the current study permit processing times, typically around 6 weeks for Indian students, excluding biometrics. Check the Canadian consulate website for updated timelines and to track your application status.

International students have three options for applying for a Canada Study Visa: online, offline, or at the port of entry.

2. Apply on paper

• Paper applications are accepted under two conditions: if you have a disability preventing online application or if you hold an identity or travel document for non-national residents, refugees, or stateless persons.

Certain individuals can apply at a port of entry, including Ukrainian nationals (or their family members), US citizens, US permanent Residents (or lawful permanent residents of the U.S.), Greenland residents, and Saint-Pierre and Miquelon residents.
