• Light Rail: The Light Rail is a rapid transit system that connects the University of Baltimore to downtown, to suburbs both north and south and BWI Airport. The Light Rail stop closest to campus is Mount Royal Station, which is about a 10-minute walk from the main campus.
  
• MARC: MARC is a commuter train serving suburbs north and south of the city. The MARC Penn Station stop is adjacent to the University of Baltimore campus.
  
• MTA Buses: MTA buses connect most of the Baltimore region. There are several bus stops located near the University of Baltimore campus.
  
• Metro Subway: The Metro Subway is a light rail system that runs southbound to Lexington Market, downtown, and Johns Hopkins Hospital. The Metro Subway stop closest to campus is the State Center Station, which is about a 5-minute walk from the main campus.
  
• UMB Shuttle: The UMB Shuttle is a free shuttle that transports students, faculty, and staff to neighbourhoods such as Federal Hill, Mount Vernon, and BioPark. The UMB Shuttle stops at several locations near the University of Baltimore campus.

The University of Baltimore (UMB) offers two on-campus housing options, located within three blocks of all academic buildings.

• Fayette Square Apartments: This apartment complex offers studio, efficiency, one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom units. All units are fully furnished and include free utilities, basic cable, and high-speed internet access. Fayette Square also has a fitness centre, business centre, study lounges, laundry facilities, and a rooftop deck with stunning views of the city.

To apply for on-campus housing at UMB, you must submit an online application and pay a non-refundable application fee. Housing assignments are made on a first-come, first-served basis.
