Franklin University, Ohio's third largest private institute was established in 1902 under YMCA sponsorship. The 14-acre primary campus is situated in Ohio, the state capital of Columbus. The University also has three other campuses in centrally located regions of Ohio and an out-of-state campus in Indianapolis, Indiana. Franklin launched a complete degree program online in 1997-1998 to ensure that virtual students can pursue education against all odds. The establishment has students, from over 70 countries across the globe, mostly in the mid-30s age bracket. Franklin enjoys the distinction of being named one of America's Top Military Friend Colleges and Universities by Military Advanced Education magazine.
