Hey, Yash!! The Important difference between MCS and MS CS is Study module, where MCS is Industry oriented whereas MC CS is research oriented. Also For Teaching Assistant and RA, preferences is given to MS CS over MCS. MCS is better if you prefer Job, MS CS if you need to do research or PhD. Both are good!! Hope this helps you!! See more

Yes, some universities allow a student to apply to only 1 program for each intake while some universities allow you to apply to different programs as long as you pay separate fees for both. You will have to contact the university for details. See more

Hi, MCS is more industry project related and MS CS is more research related. For TA/RA, MS CS students are given priority over MCS. Both are equally good. MSCS will help you if you ever decide to pursue a Phd. MCS is more of a professional degree. MSCS is a research degree. See more
