Will that be a problem in VISA approval

So no that won’t be much of a problem but the authorities would surely like to know why did you take a gap that long so they might ask you to verify and they might not as well, so just be prepared and confident

Hello Abhinay,

If you can justify the 1 year gap with proofs then there would be problem in your Visa approval. For example, if you have done any courses or certifications make sure you have them with you to show them if required. If you have prepared for any competitive exams you can show the hall tickets or scores as proof. Even if you don't have any proofs you should be confident in explaining what you have done during the year like developing certain skills (technical or personal) that could help you during masters or preparing for exams like GRE/GMAT/IELTS/TOEFL. A gap year will not effect your chances unless you have not done anything substantial during that time.
