Hi, If it was me I would have answered along the lines(FYI - I too TOEFL): I already knew a friend who had taken the TOEFL test before, I became familiar with the test pattern. If had taken up IELTS, I would have had to go through the exam pattern which I did not know. I also received the exam resources free for the exam from my friend. That was a plus point.
