UWash iSchool MSIM vs CMU MISM 16 month track (Not BIDA)
My Background:
BE in Computers, Mumbai University, TSEC (2014 passout)
Business Technology Analyst at Deloitte Consulting working on BI projects (Jan 2015 to present)
Want to specialise in Data Science and Business Intelligence
I like the curriculum of both programs,which makes this decision much tougher for me. Hence, seeking your perspective on both the programs in terms of :
1. Overall opinion
2. Academic Experience wrt Data Science/Business Intelligence tracks
3. Job opportunities in the Data Science/Business Intelligence field and the average salaries
4. Internship Opportunities. Availability of TA/GA and on campus jobs
5. ROI
6. Its getting difficult for me to find any negativities for both courses. Any difficulties/experiences will be welcome
I am sure there are folks who must have chosen one of the two programs above, or were interested in these programs.
Your thoughts on why you chose /did not choose the program will be greatly helpful to me.

Well my reasons are pretty basic...CMU is CMU...one of the best schools in the world right now! And yes ROI is better at CMU than UWash See more
