Reg F1 Visa

My loan sponsor is my own brother who works in US, but in Affidavit of support, I will mention as Father for Main sponsor. If the VO looks at my loan sanction letter and asks about my brother. Can I lie about him like he is a software engineer who is working in India..?? will lying about his job will be a serious problem..?
