When is the right time to resign from the job for Spring intake.

As I am planning for 2023 spring intake, I am wondering when is the right time to resign from my job. Most people have notice period of 3 months, so what is the ideal time to resign from the job so that it will not effect the visa and other preparation.

Hi Nagasharan, For instance, if you have your visa interview in september make sure to be on notice period until 31st october this will be very helpful in case if your interview isn't a success. Calculate according to your company policy and apply for resignation. See more

Hi Nagasharan If you are going for Spring intake, you have to make sure that you are still in your notice Period During the Time of Visa Interview (USA only) as many got rejected when they said that they left their job 2-3 months prior their Visa Date. If u haven't given any test or started collecting docs, atleast 4 months because u need to focus on ur exam preps as well if any for minimum a month and for serving the notice period. If u cant fulfil the commitment of your notice period, you may need to pay your company if its urgent. Documents like sops lors and financial statements take 3-6 weeks. See more
