Hi,

Coursework is of utmost importance here. Check which courses and electives relate to your domain of interest and pick those in order to fulfil your goals. I would suggest you to research and pick your choice based on factors such as academics, and course flexibility and see where will you be spending less on living. Also compare where will you get the most number of on-campus opportunities.

NEU Project Management is a one-way street. Being a niche major you will not be eligible for most of the technical roles out there. You will have to apply only to PM roles. So if PM is what you want to work in, go for NEU MS Project Management. NEU also on the other hand has a better reputation than UTA but at the same NEU will be expensive.

If you want to keep your option open and flexible then UTA MSIS will be a better choice. A better ROI and overall costs of UTA are also very less. Plus an MIS degree you are open to most of the technical roles out there. It's always better to keep your options open since the competition and uncertainty of landing niche roles is less in the US. Also, remember not all roles in the US have H1B sponsorships. So do make your decision based on the points I have written here and make sure you research more on LinkedIn to finalize your decision.

Considering its long term advantages I will suggest you to go for UTA MIS.

Hi Neha,
Both are great universities.
NEU is quite expensive than UTA.
Job opportunities are great in both the universities.
So, it boils down to which course you want to study.
If you are inclined to technical, go with MSIS, or else if you want management, go with PM.
