My I-20 shows 3yrs for a Master's program instead of 2yrs. However, I submitted DS-160 with 3yrs. Did I make a mistake?

I'm applying for a U.S. student visa, and my I-20 shows a 3yr duration for my master's program, even though it's typically a 2yr course. I heard this is common practice, where schools add an extra year as a buffer. To align with my I-20, I filled out and submitted the DS-160 form and mentioned my intended stay as 3yrs.

Now, I'm worried I may have made a mistake by not indicating the usual 2yr duration. If this comes up during the visa interview, how should I explain the extra year? Will this affect my chances of getting the visa? Any advice would be appreciated...
