Masters in canada

I have completed my BE in Mechanical Engineering in 2022 and Looking for 2023 intakes, mostly universities have closed their admissions for jan2023 intake and Can any one suggest me what to do in this lap of time,i mean should i do any internships,job etc iam very much confused please help me. Mechanical engineering-8.41cgpa Entermediate -98.1%
