IELTS vs PTE vs TOEFL: which one's for YOU?

Everyone asks "which is easiest?" Wrong question. The right one: which fits your strengths + your target country. Here's the quick call
Pick IELTS if:

• You're going to the UK, Canada, Australia or NZ (most preferred there)
• You're confident speaking face-to-face with a real examiner
• You want the safest, most widely accepted option

Pick PTE if:

• You're comfortable with computers + speaking into a mic (AI scoring, no human)
• You want fast results (often 24-48 hrs)
• You're a bit anxious about a live speaking test

Pick TOEFL if:

• You're US-bound (long trusted there)
• You're comfortable with academic-style English
• You prefer a fully computer-based format

Simplest rule:

• Confident talking to a person  IELTS
• Tech-savvy + want speed  PTE
• US + academic English  TOEFL

Quick note: all three are valid ~2 years and accepted by most universities, so always check your specific unis' requirements first. Choosing smart from Day 1 saves you weeks of stress.
