I am evaluating my options to do a Masters from Canada to get a provinvial nomination for PR. UBC MD
I am evaluating my options to do a Masters from Canada to get a provinvial nomination for PR. UBC MDS is an eligible masters program under BC PNP Skills Immigration International Post Graduate(IPG) category. For the BC PNP a SIRS score of 105 guarantees PNP for an IPG. My question is for those who have done MDS at UBC and applied for PR through BC PNP. In case one has only completed the UBC MDS but has no job offer, would he/she still be able to score the 105 points that guarantee a BC PNP? If not then what are the best options for getting a PNP? Would I be better off doing a longer 2 year masters like SFU Master in Data Analytics that would give a PGWP of two years and better chances of getting the right score, considering canadian work experience ? OR is the UBC MDS itself is good enough? Thanks
