How to increase GRE Verbal Score?

Hi Jeeva,
Verbal is slightly difficult in the GRE. The things that helped me to improve my score were:
1. learning Magoosh word list from the app and yocket word list, read articles on The Economist,
The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Scientific American, National Geographic, The Atlantic,
The New Yorker, Harvard Business Review, The Washington Post, Google Scholar. 
2. ETS official verbal material
3. Manhattan 5 lb book
4. Magoosh online portal. The good thing about online portals is that they show you the strong and weak areas. This helped me a lot. Instead of focusing on the things that I did wrong. I focused on the categories that I marked as correct and mastered them. This does not mean neglecting the weak areas. I just gave more priority to the types of questions that I am able to solve and later the remaining ones.

Lastly, as Sanika mentioned, practice by giving a lot of full-length tests.

Hi,
Lots and lots of practice is needed if you really want a good score. Make sure you have plenty of practice material. You can find some free material online as well. There are a lot of websites and YouTube channels you can refer to for studying. You can even download the GRE Common words list from Kaplan to start off with.  Even the ETS Website has sample questions and papers. Apart from that you can also improve your vocabulary and comprehension by reading books / newspapers / articles.

Another suggestion is, don't forget to time yourself. For e.g., if the verbal section is of 25 minutes, you should set the timer to 20 minutes.
