Hi

Can anyone help me out on how to deal with my really long name? So I have a really long name "Venkata Satyanarayan Prabhas Raju Rampalli" (not my real name). While my passport and Aadhar show my full name "Venkata Satyanarayan Prabhas Raju Rampalli", my other documents like 10th class, intermediate and B.tech certificate show my name as "Rampalli V.S.P. Raju". Since I need to use my passport or Aadhar as my primary ID for verification for GRE test, my name will differ from that mentioned in college transcripts. So what shall be the best thing for me to do? Should I change the name in passport and then write GRE?( I am applying for spring 2023 so there's not much time left) or should I just give the exam with the current passport? And if I do so, will it be a problem while applying for universities? Can someone share your opinions on this as I need to give the exam in less than 20 days. Thank you

Hi Rama, Since you haven't changed your name completely to a new one, there's no need to change or apply for a new passport as ETS needs your Passport name not your Transcripts name. See more
