Hello there Thakur,

As you have got admits from two different courses from different universities, I advise you to prioritise which course you are looking for and opt to that university so that career in your favourite field would generate more interest and keeness, thus, taking you to better positions.

However, here is a generic comparision of both the universities.

US News Rankings:

Northern Arizona University
#288 in National Universities (tie) • Flagstaff, AZ

Arizona State University
#117 in National Universities (tie) • Tempe, AZ

QS World Rankings:

Arizona State University • #216
Northern Arizona University • #1001-1200

If you talk about universities generically ASU would win when compared to Northern Arizona University with better rankings overall. But as I said, the course must be more prioritised.

Congratulations on your acceptances.

Coursework:
To begin, keep in mind that the majors offered by both schools are distinct. If coursework and curriculum are your top priorities, consider Computer Science because it covers a wide range of roles in a variety of industries. Opportunities will be created in business roles, data roles, and core technical roles as a result of CS. IT is more administrative as well as includes business oriented courses. IT will also limit you to only applying for a subset of available positions; HOWEVER, if you take appropriate electives, you will be eligible for other roles such as Analyst, Data Engineer, and Data Scientist.

Location:
Because ASU IT is provided by the Polytechnic campus, you will not be able to fully utilise the resources provided by the Tempe campus. ASU is close to California, and Arizona is one of the country's upcoming top tech destinations.

Rankings:
ASU has a higher rankings. If you care about the school's reputation, which I believe is less important based on my research and discussions with seniors and passouts enrolled in these and other schools, however with that being said, unfortunately other schools you got admitted to does not compete with ASU, so ASU should be your pick.

Despite the fact that NAU offers the MS CS programme, its reputation as a good CS school is average. ASU's IT is technical, and you can choose electives from the computer science department. In addition, ASU's professors are of higher calibre. As a result, ASU IT will be a better option. Otherwise, if you do not want to compromise on the major go for NAU CS.
But ASU should be your pick.
