HEALTH INSURANCE .SIX IMMIGRATION STEPS IN CSUN PORTAL

I got admitted in CSUN and iam travelling To LA on 12 aug but in the CSUN portal they have ask to take health insurance to remove my foreign hold so can I take the insurance once I reach USA or before I travel. Along with that i have been asked to submit student check in form, international student financial acknowledgement, emergency contact information form and I94 do i need fill it before I travel ? Please suggest me and also let me do have any particular format for MMR certificate to be uploaded in the CSUN PORTAL. I
