Do my fiancé needs to resign before applying for F2 dependent visa?

I am an F1 visa holder and will soon marry in a few months.   
AFAIK, we need a marriage certificate before getting a dependent I-20 from my school and an updated passport with a spouse's name.   
After having a SEVIS ID (via I-20) and a new passport, I can fill up DS-160 and get the appointment scheduled.  
    
But here comes my question, Should my fiancé resign before filling up DS-160, or should she quit after getting her Visa approved?  
    
I am seeking a bit of genuine advice. Thanks.

Hi,
It's not a necessity for your fiance to resign before applying for an F2 dependent visa. Your fiance can resign after getting her Visa approved.
