Hi Mihir, extra curricular activities definitely add immense weightage to your profile. There would be lot of applicants in the pool who have a similar GPA, GRE score and IELTS/TOEFL score like yours. In such a pool of similar applicants, what will set you apart and grab the attention of the admissions committee would be your extra curricular activities. Universities want to know about your personal qualities when you’re outside your classroom. They don’t want offer an admission to somebody who only scores high. That would only make the university full of nerds and geeks, right?
