CHANGE OF MAJOR

I got into NYIT and was awarded a $26000 scholarship. My major is a BS in Chemistry but I want it to be a BS in Computer Science. It might affect my financial aid. What should I do? Can I change my major before saying, 'yes' to them? I e-mailed them 3 days ago but got no reply.
