Biometrics regarding/-

Back in 2014, I had visited Canada during my schooling as a part of an educational tour. I am sure that I didnt give my bio-metrics at that time.
Two weeks before, I had filed my visa as I got admit for my masters program for coming fall,2022 intake. While filing visa, there is a question like “have you visited Canada within last 10 years”. Since I had visited, I answered to that question as “yes”.
The thing is after I answered “yes”, bio metrics fees has not been considered to me. The fee payment showed me only $150 CAD ( the biometric fees $85 CAD did not show for me ) .
I’m in a confused state right now and I’m sure that I need bio-metrics.
When I contacted VFS-GLOBAL , they said bio metrics had been implemented after 2018 only so they asked me to contact the IRCC regarding this. But it’s been two weeks and I didn’t get response or reply from them.
Had anyone encountered this sort of problem ?
