Hey people!
I would really appreciate it if somebody can evaluate my profile and see if my selected universities are ambi or mod or safe! Thanks!
GRE 331 : Q 170 V 161
TOEFL:114 CGPA: 8.81 Electronics and Electrical Engineering (Till 6th Semester)
IIT Guwahati
2 Research Internships in Machine Learning/Deep Learning (One in Tohoku University, Japan and one in KAIST, South Korea)
No Research Papers till now, one is in progress but will be not be submitted to a conference before December.
My undergraduate thesis project is in applications of Deep Learning. I also have a few other projects on Machine Learning that I have done on my own.
I should be able to write a good SOP and am expecting good LORs as well.
I am considering the following Unis:
1. CMU
2. UCLA
3. GaTech
4. Johns Hopkins
5. UMass Amherst
6. UCSB
7. Cornell
8. UIUC
9. UBC (Canada)
10. UToronto
Please feel free to tell me if all these feel like an ambi choice or if you can recommend some other universities! I would primarily be applying in the ECE Departments of these Universities since I believe that it would be easier to get into.
I would also be applying for Data Science/Machine Learning Programs specifically (CMU MCDS, CMU Machine Learning etc)
