Since NEET cutoffs change every year based on factors such as exam difficulty and the number of test-takers, the qualifying marks also vary. For example, the General category cutoff ranged from 107 marks in 2022 to 164 marks in 2024. In the same years, the OBC/SC/ST cutoff for NEET ranged from 93 to 129 marks.

Note: The biggest takeaway from the past six years is that there is no predictable pattern in NEET qualifying marks. Since the cutoff depends on percentile rather than fixed marks, it can rise or fall significantly each year.
That is why 150-160 marks for General candidates and 120-130 marks for reserved category candidates are more practical preparation targets than aiming just to qualify.
