Visa Interview Experience:
VO was a polite guy and approved another guy’s F1 before me so I was pretty confident.

VO: How are you?
ME: Good sir, how are you?

VO: Please pass me your I-20 and passport. (I passed them.)
VO: So, University of Michigan, Dearborn huh?
ME: Yes.

VO: where else did you apply?
ME: Told him.

VO: What’s your GRE score?
ME: 305.

VO: Great! Who’s going to sponsor your education.?
ME: My father.

VO: Can you tell me about his income?
ME: He has an annual income of x lacs, liquid assets of x lacs, savings of x lacs.

VO: Any loans?
ME: No, all personal funding.

VO: Wow, great father.
ME: I smiled.

VO: Have you been to the US before.?
ME: Yes sir on a tourist VISA in the summer of 2014.

VO: You should have started the interview with that?
ME: Yes sir.

VO: All right! I am approving your VISA. Thank you.
ME: Thank you sir.

Total time of waiting: Around an hour. Interview lasted 1-2 minutes.
Be cool and confident is what I would say. Got me through the nerves!
