California State University, East Bay (CSUEB) was established by the California State Assembly in 1957 as the State College for Alameda County. It started holding classes in 1959 at Cherryland's Sunset High School with just 25 professors and 293 pupils. The college moved to its permanent location in the fall of 1963, and its current name was given to it in 2005. Currently, the university is Western Association of Schools and Colleges accredited (WASC).In the San Francisco East Bay Area of California, CSUEB has three campuses: Hayward, Oakland, and Concord. Transportation in the city

The three campuses of Cal State East Bay are all conveniently reachable by significant freeways and public transportation. The most well-liked modes of public transportation to CSUEB are the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), AC Transit, and Central Contra Costa Transit Authority (CCCTA) systems. Services offered by the university

  • The University Library, Pioneer Bookstore, C.E. Smith Museum of Anthropology, Meiklejohn Hall, and Pioneer Amphitheater are all located on the Hayward campus, which is also the major campus.
  • Additionally, the campus offers a wide range of academic facilities as well as first-rate lodging and food alternatives. The Concord campus, which is located in Contra Costa County, has a sizable library, Boatwright Sports Complex, and a students' union facility.
  • A professional development facility called the Oakland campus is situated in Downtown Oakland's City Center neighborhood.

Student life

In 2019, Cal State East Bay, a sizable public institution in Hayward, California, served 12,836 undergraduate students. Many of the conveniences of city living can be found in a safe, suburban setting, without the noise and bustle. On campus accomodation
