The Stockholm Arbitration Scholarship (SAS) sponsored by Vinge law firm will cover a fulltuition scholarship for a student to participate in the Master in International Commercial Arbitration Law programme (ICAL program) at
Stockholm University.

Stockholm is a leading venue for international arbitration, home of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamberof Commerce, and hosts a thriving commercial and arbitration legal community which supports and collaborates with the ICAL programme. During the past decade, the ICAL programme has established a wide network of alumni who actively work in arbitration and commercial law in key firms, companies and organizations around the globe. By
participating in the ICAL programme, students also join the ICAL global network.

The ICAL programme is a globally recognized and top-ranked LL.M programme specialized in international arbitration.
Every year about 30 students from around the world participate in the programme and learn both theory and
practice of arbitration law from prominent academics, arbitrators, and other practitioners.

Stockholm Arbitration Scholarship Coverage

This scholarship cover the cost of the tuition and are therefore a funding opportunity for students with citizenships outside the EU/EEA.

Stockholm Arbitration Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Please note that if you apply for the ICAL programme, you are allowed to apply for several scholarships (including the scholarships scheme at Stockholm University and the Swedish Institute, but can only be granted one.

Students specifically admitted to the LL.M. in International Commercial Arbitration Law.

How to Apply for Stockholm Arbitration Scholarship

The application round for thise scholarship opens after the admission results are sent out. The relevant students will be advised of the application process after the admission results are published.

Between 22-25 March 2024. More information will be sent out to all candidated offered admission to the ICAL programme.

Who Can Apply for Stockholm Arbitration Scholarship

Applicants from countries outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland and who are required to pay tuition fees.
