Which university is better asu for information technology or neu for information system?

Hi Chaitrali
Congrats on getting admits in these universities.
It's All about Preferences:

1.Weather -
Neu is in the eastcoast so it tends to be Really Cold during winter
ASU is in the westcoast so you can expect hot weather throughout the year

2. Tuition Fee - 
Both of these Universities seems to have almost same tuition give or take 2k$

3. Part time - 
Both of the Universities have ample number of on Campus jobs to take care of your cost of Living

4. Job Opportunities - 
Both have really good Job Fairs but
Here Neu Seems to have an upper hand only because of Co-op.
If you ask me what's a Co-op, It's nothing but you getting an internship through your own means but you can work upto 6 months on your F-1 Visa Full Time i.e. 40hrs a week but your graduation is also pushed back by 6 months if you get a Co-Op. So you have to choose between working as an intern or Graduating early .
** Do note that not everyone gets a Co-Op.

5. Campus Life - 
NEU has More Class Strength and More the Competition to on-Campus Jobs Like TA/RA etc. Since More students are in your class  you might miss out on 1-1 Consultation by your professor you can find in ASU

You can compare the curriculums, concentration, electives and location of the particular program offered by the respective universities to which you would want / have applied to, as they might be the most significant factors in your decision-making process. Also, reach out to the alumnis of the program of your choice, on LinkedIn, as some of them might reply to you. Additionally, you can go through the popular rankings websites such 'QS RANKINGS 2022', 'US NEWS RANKINGS 2022', 'TIMES HIGHER EDUCATION RANKINGS 2022' and 'Forbes US University Rankings 2021'. Also, you should consider the factors such as 'Admission requirements for International students (I am assuming that you are an Indian citizen), 'Cost of living', 'Year-round weather conditions', 'CPT & OPT opportunities that maybe offered by the university'. Also, you can contact the college representatives via the email id and/or contact number on the respective program page, department page or university website. Hope this helps you to get better clarity than before.
