One of the easiest ways to strengthen your profile for MS CS is by writing a research paper and working on some intriguing projects. Projects and research papers though are not a necessity, give an edge to your profile. They help you stand apart from the pool of applicants and help you get closer to your dream university.

3) Git and Github- Use Git and Github and update it well before applying. it showcases the skills and projects you have worked on, you can easily learn about it by watching any youtube video.

4) Work in teams to improve your project management skills- A career in Computer Science demands the ability to work with people in the development of the CyS systems, System Administrators and a lot more. You will have to work with different individuals in order to get your application and base processes up and running, so having these soft skills becomes crucial.


5) Resume- Building a strong resume is very important, it helps you highlight your achievements, skills, and competencies in a refined manner. Be sure to mention your projects on github if you do use it.
