Planning for MS in CS for spring 2023

Below is my profile - GPA - 9.24 ( EC background trying for MS in CS) TOEFL - 103 GRE - yet to take targetting above 310. 3+ years of work experience 1 national paper published I have finalized below universities for applying - USC, ASU, NEU Boston, Purdue, stony brook, TAMU, SUNY Buffalo, Umass. Can anyone suggest is my list ok? On what basis do we actually categorize as safe target and ambitious uni? Based on my profile will I get into atleast 2 universities i have shortlisted?

I would suggest you to add GaTech as well in your list (if you score 320+ on gre). I have seen people with 8.2-9cgpa from EC background get into MSCS at GaTech (fall 2022) See more

All the universities u shortlisted are Ambitious since you're from non CS background
