Information about MS in data analysis (SJSU)

Hello guys,

Im plannig for masters in data analysis in fall 2024. I read somewhere that GRE is optional for this course. Can someone tell me if this information correct. Also i wanted to know about the job opportunities after this course. Do we have scope in USA after this course?? And how much of coding is expected for this course. I dont think my coding skills are that great. However im good with data visualization and data mining.

Also what are the universities that are good for MS in data analysis other then SJSU?

Can't really tell you about how much coding will be there in the course, but you can expect it to have a fair bit of coding since you have to take 9-11 courses most of them will have some sort or practical assignments attached to them.
Another point of advice is to get your coding skills up because regardless of the profile, in tech most companies nowadays take competitive programming as the first round of their interviews so you definitely need to go through leetcode and such platforms and practice their problems.
