I made a very bad mistake of wrong college name on my SOP in between my essay

While submitting SOP for UIC, I did not edit Northeastern University to UIC. I mailed the department a month back but no reply. Should I apply again? The application fees is also too high $170. Will I sure shot get rejected for this ?
