CMU is possible for ECE.  Few girls got job for coding. Many electives from CS  they took .

Work experience in IT Sector @bhavana. Biomedical engg to CS THEY may give admit IT to ASU poly not main campus. This satellite campus is hopeless.

Like Tharun said, if you are from a non CS background, you have to apply for the scientists and engineers program in USC admit. It is specifically designed for ppl from non CS background.
