Confused between US and Australia for MS in computer science? Do Australian Universities provide quality education and good opportunities? Suggestions

Can u tell me why
I have written gre home 
I have applied with usa Universities if it caused any problems 
I have no patience to write gre again
So thinking of applying to Australia as back up
Canada is not an option for me I have less gpa

Hi Shantanu,
While I don't believe there's a conclusive answer to this question that applies to everyone, there are some things one might want to consider.
1) Some of the best universities for CS are in the US. While rankings are always to be considered with a grain of salt, they do take into account a number of factors.
2) Most of the top Software/Internet companies are US-based so it can be easier to find jobs post-graduation. 
3) Compare the cost of living of both countries (I think Australia is more expensive, but I am not 100% sure)
