The most photographed place I have seen is the beautiful hill station of Shimla.

What is the place?

Shimla is one of the most beautiful hill stations in North India. Famous for its beautiful locales, colonial buildings, and cool weather, it offers an inviting experience to travelers.

When and with whom did you go there?

Five years ago, at the onset of the summer Vacation holiday, I visited Shimla for the first time with my family. I have been there several times since, with friends and another for the family holiday. Every time was a new experience, either wandering somewhere undiscovered or returning to places I love.

How was your experience of that place?

Now, each Shimla trip has been fantastic for me. The lush green hills, calm ambiance, and attractive streets of the town are a photographer's delight. Shimla is beautiful each season: the snow in winter and fall, the bright flowers of summer. My favorite shooting places are Kufri, Jakhoo Temple, and The Mall Road.

How did you feel after taking photos at that place?

Shimla is one place where taking pictures leaves you high and inspired. Being able to snap the grand vistas and snuggle into those thatched roofs sounds so stimulating. I am reminded of my visit time & again. Each image reminds me of the good times spent there and keeps the enthusiasm to return high. Looking at the pictures gives me a warm feeling, and I go back to my times when things were much more straightforward yet beautiful.

Introduction

Jaipur is a city that is ever so vibrant in its culture and history. I have been here a few times before, but this place never gets old enough to capture moments through my camera.

What is the place?

Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan in India, and it is famous for its rich heritage- like Hawa Mahal Amer Fort, to name a few & markets such as Johari Bazaar.

When and with whom did you go there?

I visited Jaipur for the first time with my friends on a college trip a few years back. I have revisited Jaipur ever since with family and traveled solo to capture the vibe of this place at various historical attractions.

How was your experience of that place?

My visits to Jaipur have been a feast for the senses. For years, the delicate murals of Amer Fort, vibrant colors oozing out of filled local markets, and serene beauty by Jal Mahal Lake remain my backdrops for every shoot. Its mix of ancient tradition with modernity presents an unlimited range for capturing memorable moments and architectural marvels.

How did you feel after taking photos at that place?

Jaipur is a city that can be photographed, making one feel in awe of its beauty. So, capturing a city's colorful culture and architectural wonders in photos is my way to go back in time whenever I want to experience those eccentric moments again and share them with people out there! This trip only bumps my reverence for Jaipur's history and culture, returning with a notepad and camera.

Introduction

One place I visit frequently to collect some precious memories is The Silent Shores of Goa - a paradise on the west coast of India.

What is the place?

Known for its incredible beaches, spunky culture, and Portuguese colonial architecture, Goa is the perfect concoction of relaxation meets adventure.

When and with whom did you go there?

My first visit to Goa was with friends during a college break; the sun-kissed beaches and party life were what attracted me. Since then, several of my visits have accompanied me even by family, or I have gone solo, exploring the many faces and expressions caught in clicks.

How was your experience of that place?

Every Goa visit has been a breath of fresh air. Whether wandering the bustling markets of Panaji, relaxing on the serene beaches in Palolem, or visiting Old Goa with its ancient churches, every nook and corner here has a post-card scene waiting to be clicked. Combining the changing shades in the sea at sunset and vibrant festivals adds more layers to my photographic journey.

How did you feel after taking photos at that place?

Goa, through my lens, fills me with happiness and feelings of nostalgia, and finally, it lets bygones be back as I click them. But it's worth that effort, a way of keeping the magic of its beaches, downtown, and local life vivid among memories. Even more so when I share with others, these smiles turn into photos from this coastal paradise. It makes me see things from a different angle, even moments, so every visit doubles up as an unrivaled memory of travel photography.

Introduction

One of the areas that my lens has found numerous subjects is, in one part or another, within the serene and mystical landscapes hidden among the shadows, a land like no other: northerly Ladakh.

What is the place?

Ladakh sits high in the Himalayas, a desert landscape of stark mountains with vibrant blue rivers and lakes punctuating otherwise barren land.

When and with whom did you go there?

I was first lured to Ladakh years ago when a band of our intrepid mates went for its magnificent vistas and quirky cultural bits. I have since returned many times, either on my own or leading groups of photographers who wish to record Ladakh's mystical beauty.

How was your experience of that place?

Every visit to Ladakh is transformative. The desolate land, many expansive landscapes of barren mountains against light blue skies, and serene lakes like Pangong Tso make for plenty of palette positions. The story of these images is developed around how the photographer meets communities during his voyage, often on cliff-hanging ancient monasteries communing with affectionate villagers.

How did you feel after taking photos at that place?

Ladakh is a photographer's dream, and you feel close to nature. Photographing with the lens feels like capturing its pristine, unadulterated beauty one click at a time. These images offer more than landscapes - they are frames with cultural and spiritual depth. This sense of fulfillment and gratefulness propels me to return to Ladakh to attempt to redefine it in even newer ways.

Q1. Do you like to take photos?

Yes, I love it! - Capture moments. The camera helps me capture these moments and create memories I can freeze in time while also expressing my creativity. Even exploring new places or documenting everyday moments, photography is an area that always sparks something in me. Photography has always been my passion. 

Q2. Young people or old, who will take more photos?

Young or Old, It does not matter; they share the same passion for photography when people are being photographed. The younger generation wants to share and be creative with social media, whereas the older folk like looking back on images.

Q3. Do you reckon a photographer is good?

There are a lot of Advantages to Becoming a Photographer. You show creativity, immortalize memorable moments, and see the world from unexpected angles. Also, you can earn money through photos through selling & at the same time. Photography is always a door to traveling around this World and those Cultures.

Q4. What do people like to shoot photos?

Natural Scapes, Famous Monuments, or Bustling Streets. People love to shoot in picturesque locations. These offer plenty of photographic opportunities ranging from photographing the beauty in nature to history and culture documenting a region. Apart from the well-known tourist spots, grand wonders of architecture and iconic landmarks are also goldmines for photographers trying to eternalize their travel memories.
