Imperial Excellence Scholarship: Eligibility, Deadline & How to Apply

This scholarship is available for applicants to MSc programmes at Imperial Business School. 

Imperial Excellence Scholarships are awarded to applicants who demonstrate exceptional all-round excellence throughout their application and interview process. These scholarships recognise candidates who not only showcase strong academic and professional achievements but also embody the qualities, potential, and passion that align with the values of Imperial Business School. Recipients of these scholarships are selected for their outstanding performance, commitment, and potential to make a meaningful impact within academic community and beyond.

Up to £15,000

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the scholarship:

• Strong academic background
• Clear potential for professional growth and leadership
• A compelling personal statement demonstrating alignment with Imperial College’s values and vision
• Applicants must have received an offer for an MSc programme at Imperial Business School during rounds one or two of the admission process.

Candidates who submit their application for an MSc programme in admission rounds one or two and receive an offer will automatically be considered for this scholarship.

Successful candidates will be notified by Thursday 28 November (round one) and Thursday 13 March (round 2).

Scholarships will be awarded throughout the admissions cycle but only a limited number are available, so they recommend applying in an earlier round.

Two References

You will need to share the contact details of two academic referees or one professional and one academic referee.

Personal Statement

Essays are a vital part of your application. The questions for the MSc Strategic Marketing programme are:

• Please discuss your career plans after graduation. (350 words)
• Why do you want to study at Imperial Business School and how will you contribute to our community? (500 words)
• Imperial’s values are Respect, Collaboration, Integrity, Innovation, and Excellence. Describe a time where you embodied one, or more, of these values and explain the impact it had. (500 words)

Candidates who submit their application for an MSc programme in admission rounds one or two and receive an offer will automatically be considered for this scholarship.
