What does the DS-160 form question "Person/entity paying for the trip" mean in the context of an F-1

What does the DS-160 form question "Person/entity paying for the trip" mean in the context of an F-1 visa? Just the flight ticket charges or the entire educational expenses?

If it means the entire educational expenses and I am taking an educational loan that covers the majority of the expenses, should I fill "Self" or the details of my co-applicant?
