Is it okay to have different email IDs for DS-160, US travel Visa and I901?

While registering for booking a Visa appointment I mistyped my email id and it became my user id. I contacted customer support to request them to change it but they told me to create a new account on gmail instead (Gmail account with slight mistake on my name). I did the same and received my confirmation receipts for all three? Please let me know, thanks in advance.
