Hi, I am an Electronics and Communication UG student , currently working for a software engineering firm. I am planning to apply for CS Fall 2017.

I am skeptical about my chances at good universities owing to my stream change.
I have 18 months of work experience in CS and also an internship (projects in Big data analysis and Machine Learning). Will that help improve my shot at good universities?

How to convince universities that I will be able to fare better in CS and that me being an electronics student will not be a hindering factor
