Transportation in the city

There are various ways to get to the University of Nebraska, Omaha, including taking the bus, train, walking, or subletting a motorcycle. The city has an efficient and well-developed public transportation system. UNO students, faculty, and staff will soon have the opportunity to learn about the various transportation options available to them for getting to and from campus in one convenient place. A sustainable travel showcase will be held outside UNO's Health and Kinesiology Building on August 23 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Wellness Center). A few of the other popular options are listed below:

MavRIDE is a scheme that gives free bus rides to University of New Orleans students, faculty, and staff. A Metro bus and Metro representatives will be on hand to assist students in learning how to use their MavRIDE passes and answer any questions they may have.

B-Cycle is a bike-sharing program located right on Dodge and Pacific campuses and in many nearby communities such as Dundee and Downtown. A B-Cycle representative will be on hand to explain how the bike-sharing program works.
